Short Springs Natural Area is located in Tullahoma, TN.  Enjoy a three mile loop to see three waterfalls.  Machine Falls is the only one that is accessible and the other two are viewed from the top, so you can't get a good photo, especially in the summer months.  The trails are moderately smooth but there is elevation change and several sections that could present a challenge for some. We went Busby-Machine-Adams.  The base of Machine Falls is opposite the Wildflower trail - we almost missed the small waterfall access sign near the bridge as it looked like just a creek bed and the falls are hidden.

After hiking, plan to go to nearby Lynchburg and enjoy a Piggy Mac at the iconic Bar-B-Que Caboose Cafe.
