Turtletown Falls

Turtletown Falls is a 4.2 lollipop hike located near Farner, TN.  Many (including yours truly) have a difficult time locating the trailhead.  Many advise the easier way to complete the loop hike is to go right at the split, but we wouldn't have found our way as the trail is not well marked. If you go right, you will dead end at a junction that you have to go left (even though the right looks well traveled).
We went to the left at the split (see photo below) and hiked down to the primary falls first.  Some make this an out and back hike by going this way, but they miss the second falls in the loop.  There were so many down trees that if we had gone right, we would have probably missed the cut to the main falls, but definitely agree the route we took meant almost a complete uphill hike back.
Basically it is a loop with a quick offshoot down a steep hill to the second falls.  Parking is a problem (see photo) but all seem to make it work.  The little cutie at the end showed us the way out.
