Colditz Cove is a 165-acre natural area located approximately two miles east of Allardt in Fentress County. There is a short loop hike above and then behind Northrup Falls. The top of the trail is mainly level for any skill level.  Once you start the descend to the falls it becomes rocky as expected.  Coldwitz Cove is a beautiful area but would not leave any valuables in the car as the parking lot is quite isolated.
